1 Lease indenture, Shefford, Bedfordshire. Thomas Squire of Southill, Bedfordshire, and Mary his wife sell to George Hailey of Shefford certain land in Shefford for the term of one year at a peppercorn rent that he may be in possession and able to take a release. Witnesses: Thomas Bower, John Phillips. Two seals are attached.

2 Release indenture, Shefford, Bedfordshire. Thomas Squire and Mary his wife release to George Hailey the same land, to him and his heirs to the use of him and his heirs for ever. They agree to levy a fine of the land with proclamation by a certain date. Witnesses: Thomas Bower, John Phillips. On the back is a receipt for the consideration money signed by Thomas Squire. Witnesses: the same. Two seals are attached.
