Content and context

Thomas Phipps of Shefford, Bedfordshire releases to William Nutkins of Campton certain land in Campton of which he is in possession by virtue of a Lease made the previous day. Witnesses: Edmund Abbiss, Robert Fitzjohn. On the back is a receipt for the consideration money signed by Thomas Phipps. Witnesses: the same. One seal is attached.
