The chief contents are: reproductions of illustrations in old books; printed matter mostly from the Arts Council (1946-1950, designed by Peters); Christmas cards and other printed announcements of John and Margaret Peters; designs done at Cambridge University Press; Reynolds Stone's wood-engraving of the royal arms; engravings by Peters (one dated 1949); 'First drawing and reduction of proposed 4-1/4 pt. Bible face' (i.e. Monotype Angelus; initialled JP and dated Nov. 1952).
