Content and context

This series includes layouts, drawings, artwork, and specimens of printed matter. Some work is for Cambridge University Press publications, some was for the University and Colleges and for outside customers of the Press, and some was Peters's private work. Undated items are at the end of the sequence. 'Artwork' consists generally of drawings in black ink with annotations for reproduction as printing blocks or binder's dies, sometimes accompanied by proofs.
