Includes correspondence, specimen setting of 2 pages, and other papers from an earlier project. 'First Areo¬pagitica project. To be illustrated by Henry Moore as a Clover Hill edition. Lack of interest on Moore's part meant this was abandoned.' For the 1973 book 'The bulk of the preparatory material - pasteup, setting copy etc - sold to James Dearden, College of Librarianship, Wales, shortly after publication' - notes by Sebastian Carter.
