John Nicholson Ireland (1879-1962), English composer.

Incomplete score, last page only (of 2), autograph in ink, 'Alpine song', marked for printing, with tonic sol-fa in red ink, and alterations to piano accompaniment also in red ink. Alpine song was published by J. Curwen & Co. in the series 'Choruses for equal voices' (No. 1322, 1911). The words were translated from German by James Vila Blake.
