'Eine Untersuchung seiner Quellen', trancript, 233 folios. The main text is written on the recto only, but there are occasional supplementary notes in English in the text and on the verso in the same hand. There are corrections to the author's German grammar made in a second hand, which is perhaps the same hand responsible for the two notes in German on fos 7v and 9v. These features, and the character of the hand, suggest an English rather than a German author. The work is set out as if intended for publication.
Left by an unknown reader before 1934 in the charge of Alfred Rogers, assistant in charge of Room Theta in the old University Library, and never reclaimed.
