Includes: transcripts or extracts from court rolls, grants, pleas, inquisitions, fines, and related material; valuation of rectory and list of rectors, 1695-1837; account of architecture and monuments in Copdock Church; biographical notes of rectors; extracts from Copdock wills, 1448-1517; various etchings inserted; genealogical memorandum re William and Beatrice Coppedok and their issue; agreement between Alan de Goldingham and Robert de Coppedok, 1299; indenture of receipt for rent for lands in Copdock paid by Richard Talmage to Sir Richard Waldegrave, c. 1400; rentals, 14th cent., 1363, 1367, 1373, 1376, and 1378, and 15th cent.; bill of fourth part, 14th cent.; court leet held at Ingeborne Hill, rental, 1439; extracts from rolls of courts leet held ?12 Jan. 1423 and 8 Jan. 1426.

Acquired by Sir Thomas Phillipps, 1859. Phillipps MS 17150. Purchased at Sotheby's Phillipps sale, 22 June 1893 lot 854 (Quaritch).
