Autograph. Endorsed in 19th-cent. hand: 'Given me by Miss Langton gr. granddaughter of Bennett Langton Esq. of Langton, Lincolnshire - H. W. Powell.'

Formerly belonged to the Langton family of Lincolnshire, and subsequently to Mrs H. W. Powell. Presented to the Library by E. A. B. Barnard, 26 Sep. 1939.
